SALT Pre-Professional Training Company
SALT Pre-Professional Training Company (SALT Pro) is a supplementary training program designed to provide dancers in any stage of their career (ages 18+) the resources to further develop their artistry, technique, and individuality. The program prioritizes well-rounded training that is tailored each season to the dancers in the company. SALT Pro strives to foster a positive environment that provides opportunities for collaboration and encourages movement research.
Program Dates: September 8, 2020 - May 27, 2021

Rehearsals
- Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:00-9:30pm
- Each meeting includes technique class followed by rehearsal

- Showcase Performance at SHAPE Choreography Festival
- Performance in SALT2 Spring Concert

Details
- Company training includes:
- Improvisation, floor-work, contemporary, ballet, and movement phrase development/workshopping.
- Dancers experience two choreographic processes each season – one with a guest choreographer and one with the director, Courtney Mazeika.
