Step back in time to the vibrant 1930s with “Radio Silence,” a captivating dance performance that immerses the audience in the thrilling and complex tapestry of this iconic decade. As the curtain rises, audiences will be transported to bustling landscapes. Each movement tells a story, celebrating the resilience and creativity that defined the 1930s. “Radio Silence” captures the spirit of an era filled with both struggle and hope.

Through the lens of professional SALT dancers and a talented cast of young performers from local studios, this production masterfully weaves together the era’s rich cultural landscape—marked by jazz, radio broadcasts, and social change.

We are not accepting applications for dancers at this time.

Dancers rehearse and perform alongside SALT professionals in an original contemporary production of Radio Silence. SALT is auditioning talented performers ages 12-18 for roles in this all-new production. Selected participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner by learning and maintaining choreography, arriving on time and prepared for all rehearsals and being respectful of directors, dancers and staff.

*Participants must attend all rehearsals unless approved by the choreographer. Not all requests can be granted and will be assessed based on the impact and timeline of the production.
